Mobile Elevated Working Platforms Operator Training

Over 70% of all accidents in the work place are as a result of working at height.  Therefore the health and safety of your staff who work at height is of major importance. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places a duty on the employer to provide an adequate level of training to allow employees to operate equipment safely and competently.  Sending those of your workers who work at height on an Industry Leading Body Accredited training course is one of the ways to do this.

These courses are designed for all MEWP (Mobile Elevated Working Platforms) users to include, but not limited to, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, booms, stock pickers, vehicle and trailer mounted booms and are designed to give users the knowledge to prepare and safely operate various types of MEWPs.  Our operator course is a minimum of 7 hours, covering both theory and practical instruction and assessments.  There are no pre-requisites to this course although a working knowledge of MEWPs is an advantage.

The Operator Course is a 1-2 day course, please bear in mind your experience levels when booking as inexperienced delegates should consider booking a 2 day course to ensure adequate experience is achieved prior to practical assessment.  Successful delegates will receive a certificate and photo card licence which is valid for 5 years.
