With the introduction of the Working at Height Regulations 2005 (WaHR) there has been a marked increase in the use of Powered Access and Non Powered Access Equipment. Liftright Access was established in January 2010 by Glyn Goodwin; with an engineering and sales background in the Access Industry spanning over 30 years working for industry leaders, he identified a niche in the market for a bespoke Powered Access Specialist providing a high level of customer service together with a comprehensive range of products.

Gary Fleckney acquired the business from Glyn in April 2011.

Gary was born and educated in Luton, a time served Engineer with SKF , Gary has worked across the UK and Northern Europe with rental and manufacturing companies including Instant Zip-Up, Upright and JLG Industries since 1984.

Gary has extensive experience in the aerial access platform arena and a keen understanding of the end user, rental and sales side of the industry. With a wealth of product knowledge Gary is well equipped to advise customers on all aspects of working at height and drive the business forward.

Liftright Access further enhances its reputation in the marketplace with its strong links through membership to both IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) and PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufactures’ Association). These are both highly recognised bodies within the Access Industry and show we are serious about standards.
